Prayer fulfills the Purpose of God in Salvation

The Scriptures say that '...God inhabits the praises of his people', and the Scriptures also teaches that God dwells in the atmosphere of His praise. And we also know that Praise, when experienced through Faith, brings us into the presence and Power, of God. Therefore we like the Psalmist David understand how good it feels when we express thanks unto Him, and Bless His name. (We'd suggest you read the Bilble passage of Psalm 22 verse 3 sometime soon.)

Some that read this will know the difference between praying and simply talking to yourself. Knowing that God has given mankind the ability and channel to communicate with him should empower us. It should cause us to humble ourselves, to express ourselves. Some will enjoy playing instruments. Some will sing, some will dance. What we encourage you to do, is to come and share that experience with us.

What are your Prayers to God about?

As part of putting your trust in God, and understanding our relationship with Him, we have learned to take everything to God in Prayer. Believers in Jesus Christ seek out Gods counsel for direction on lifes concerns. The Bible contains an account by the Apostle Luke, in Chapter 11, about Jesus and an occasion when the matter of how to Pray is mentioned by His disciples. Most people can repeat 'The Lords Prayer' in which Jesus gives us an understanging of how to draw near to God, who is beyond our human understanding, but who invites us to call Him 'Our Father'
